Immediate opening: turning centre operator (Alabama)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Autauga County, Alabama. Day-to-day duties: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
