Heavy goods vehicle driver wanted in Isle of Wight

Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Isle of Wight, England. Day to day you will log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; report defects and book the unit in for servicing. Ideal candidate: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Current Driver CPC qualification card We offer £95 per day plus benefits.
