Ideal candidate: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage The role involves: • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns Part-time with flexible hours.
