MIG/MAG welder • Indiana County, Pennsylvania

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Indiana County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI in welder trade or equivalent At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
