Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Borough of Swindon, England. The job is at a busy machine shop. You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code You will deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; load and index turning tools in the turret; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances.
