Finishing presser — Red Willow County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finishing presser in Red Willow County, Nebraska. The job is at a textile finishing unit. What we are looking for: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Day to day you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
