Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Ulster County, New York. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. The role involves feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
