We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment presser in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. You will be based in a garment export house. Day-to-day duties: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Part-time with flexible hours. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
