Now hiring: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Stone County, Mississippi. The role involves: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe What we are looking for: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • 2+ years' experience as a baker Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
