Urgent requirement: we are hiring a roofer in Nash County, North Carolina. You will be based at a sheet metal roofing workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Carry out leak inspections and patch repairs • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs You should have: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $140 per day, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
