Immediate opening: we are hiring a production welder in Harney County, Oregon. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $10,250 per project, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
