Stainless steel welder — Spink County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Spink County, South Dakota. What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
