Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • 2+ years experience working as a butcher The role involves: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings Part-time with flexible hours.
