Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Lyon County, Minnesota. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Day-to-day duties: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $11,000 per project plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
