Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Blue Earth County, Minnesota. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Day-to-day duties: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
