Backhoe operator • Putnam County, West Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Putnam County, West Virginia. Your main tasks: • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains Requirements: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $170 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
