Counter butcher • Pettis County, Missouri

We are recruiting: we are hiring a counter butcher in Pettis County, Missouri. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. You will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; season and marinate meat on request. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
