Assembly technician wanted in Torfaen County Borough

We are recruiting: we are hiring an assembly technician in Torfaen County Borough, Wales. The job is in a packaging and assembly workshop. The role involves solder small connectors and check the joints under a magnifier; pack finished units with foam inserts and seal the cartons; keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station; tighten fasteners to the specified torque using a power screwdriver or torque wrench; wear an ESD wrist strap when handling circuit boards. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 10th pass or ITI is an advantage • Careful handling of tools and components • Able to stand for the full shift and do repetitive hand work Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
