GMAW welder — Clinton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Clinton County, New York. You will work on a structural steel site. The role involves change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Rotating shifts. Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
