Semi-automatic welder wanted in Clark County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Clark County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy production line. Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
