Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundsman in Childress County, Texas. The job is at a private estate garden. Requirements: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Day to day you will plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe.
