We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in McHenry County, North Dakota. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium The role involves: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
