We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety officer in Payne County, Oklahoma. On a typical shift you will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
