Shuttering fixer wanted in Yakutat City and Borough

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Yakutat City and Borough, Alaska. You will work at a reinforced concrete building site. Day to day you will seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
