Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage On a typical shift you will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings.
