Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Your main tasks: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Full-time with occasional weekends.
