MIG/MAG welder • Lavun, Niger State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Lavun, Niger State. Your main tasks: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Six days a week, one day off.
