Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Allamakee County, Iowa. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. The role involves: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits.
