Plant operator (dozer) — Miner County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Miner County, South Dakota. You will work at a civil contractor's yard. Day to day you will strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank. Requirements: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections 3+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
