Cabinet maker • New Hanover County, North Carolina

Join our team: we are hiring a cabinet maker in New Hanover County, North Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings 2+ years on the tools preferred.
