Join our team: pipe tig welder (Kansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Morton County, Kansas. The job is on an industrial construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE You will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
