Immediate opening: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Leslie County, Kentucky. The job is on a housing development site. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites On a typical shift you will clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience.
