Electrical supervisor — City of Lynchburg

We are recruiting: we are hiring an electrical supervisor in City of Lynchburg, Virginia. You will work at a residential housing project. On the job you will handle: • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Check earth continuity and earth pit resistance • Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams • Test insulation resistance with a megger • Isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working • Fault-find on motor starters and star-delta panels Requirements: • Safe handling of live LV circuits and proper PPE use • Able to read single-line and wiring diagrams • Sound knowledge of IS wiring and earthing standards 1+ years on the tools preferred.
