Immediate opening: we are hiring a double glazing installer in Martin County, Florida. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves Day to day you will clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends.
