We are recruiting: we are hiring an escalator technician in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Rivers State. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Day to day you will respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox.
