Head butcher wanted in Alexander County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head butcher in Alexander County, North Carolina. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Requirements: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Day-to-day duties: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools Six days a week, one day off. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
