Foundry operative wanted in Republic County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry operative in Republic County, Kansas. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Basic grinding and fettling skills Day to day you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
