Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Monroe County, West Virginia. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Day to day you will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
