Immediate opening: stamping press operator (New York)

Join our team: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Ontario County, New York. The job is on the press shop floor. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred The role involves feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; record output and downtime on the production sheet; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. Rotating shifts. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
