Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks The role involves: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
