Join our team: we are hiring a retail butcher in Campbell County, Tennessee. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Day-to-day duties: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders Six days a week, one day off.
