Immediate opening: we are hiring a HSE officer in Lake County, California. You will work at an oil and gas facility. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Day-to-day duties: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action Six days a week, one day off.
