Great opportunity: offshore rigger (Scotland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Renfrewshire, Scotland. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Your main tasks: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
