Press machine operator wanted in North Ayrshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a press machine operator in North Ayrshire, Scotland. You will work on the press shop floor. Ideal candidate: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges You will watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings.
