Immediate opening: we are hiring a fitter on the line in Wood County, Ohio. The job is at a busy assembly plant. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of quality checks and 5S • Able to stand for the full shift and do repetitive hand work • Comfortable meeting hourly production targets Your main tasks: • Log defects and place rejected units in the rework bay • Pack finished units with foam inserts and seal the cartons • Tighten fasteners to the specified torque using a power screwdriver or torque wrench • Carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts • Fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor • Keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station We offer $200 per day plus benefits.
