Gas pipeline fitter • Franklin County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Franklin County, Illinois. You will be based in a gas distribution network. On a typical shift you will complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation. You should have: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Driving licence for travel between sites • Able to read isometric and site drawings Full-time, day shift.
