We are recruiting: we are hiring a cement mason in Perry County, Mississippi. On a typical shift you will carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing. You should have: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Performance bonus on top of base pay.
