Vacancy available: long-haul driver (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Jefferson County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock Ideal candidate: • Valid digital tachograph card • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
