Requirements: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts Day to day you will check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets.
