Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machinist in Washington County, Maine. Your main tasks: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
